Female fans: We’ll be in tribunes next season

AMED – Female fans those who condemn the attacks on Amedspor, called on all women to tribunes. One of the women fans and Purple Tribune (Mor Tribün) member Şilan Turan said, “We’ll continue to support our team next season as usual under the umbrealla of Purple Tribune. All women must come to tribunes instead of condemning the attacks at home.”
The team of Amedspor are exposed to verbal and physical insults in away matches along with their recently successes. Latest in match between Ankaragücü and Amedspor, Amedspor managers were faced racist attacks. The federation watches the attacks on Amedspor with closed eyes. The federation released the detained Ankaragücü fans. Kurdish people support their team with spirit of unity against the attacks. Female fans don’t keep silent against the attacks. They follow all the Amedspor matches. Female fans stated that they condemn the attacks on their team.
One of the fans Necla Demirhan said, “I am from Diyarbakır and I support the team of my city. I go to every match of my team. Previously, the number of the team’s female fans was very small. But, gradually the people have appropriated the team; the number of fans is increasing each day. They attack our team; however, we won’t do what they do. We’ll meet the fans of other teams with recpect and friendship. I will go to support my team away matches next year. I call on all women to take their place in tribunes and support their team.”
Another fan of Amedspor Aynur Turan came to the match with her daughter. “We came to watch this match as mother-daughter. This match is the last one this year. We’ll continue to support them next year, too. I don’t leave alone my team as a female fan.”
Şilan Turan, daughter of Aynur, meanwhile, said, “We’ll continue to support our team next season as usual under the umbrealla of Purple Tribune. All women must come to tribunes instead of condemning the attacks at home. They must come to show the others that we aren’t alone.”
