ANKARA – Selahattin Demirtas, co-chair of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) made statement about the declaration has been released with title; “Do not touch the will of people and my voice in Parliament” is supported by many NGOs. Selahattin said, “We begin a campaign named “No against the coup”. This campaing won’t be limited with Parliament and it will be good for Turkey’s future.”

Selahattin Demirtas, co-chair of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) made statement about the declaration has been released with title; “Do not touch the will of people and my voice in Parliament” is supported by many NGOs. Selahattin stated, “We begin “No” campaign against coup in the Council. Today’s declaration is a declaration against dictatorship and coup. This campaing won’t be limited with Parliament and it will be good for Turkey’s future. The government cannot decide by its will. Even it cannot determine the agenda of Parliament. The AKP decides who will be its party leader, who will be the Ministers and members of the higher judicial. It decides which columnist will write in which newspaper. Ahmet Davutoğlu is one of the people who make a big contribution to this system.”

Selahattin emphasized that Ahmet Davutoğlu will pass into history as “Murderer and warrior”.
