ŞIRNEX - The Peoples' Democractic Party (HDP) İdil co-chair Ayten Erdem has been detained by police.

Political genocide operations have continued in the İdil district of Şırnak where curfew had been declared and continued for 44 days. Police conducted a raid on the Cultural Center of the district municipality. The HDP İdil co-chair Ayten Erdem has been detained by the police.

As no information has been obtained about the reason of the detention, Ayten was taken to District Police Department.
