MÊRDİN - After curfew was declared in the 13 neighborhoods of Mardin's districts, warplanes began to bombard the rural areas.

Curfew was declared in 13 neighborhoods located in rural areas of Ömerli (Kurdish: Mehsert), Midyat and Nusaybin (Kurdish: Nisêbîn) districts of Mardin by Mardin Governor. According to local sources, F-16 type warplanes have been bombarding the region of Ziyareta Keferdê located between Golê (Göllü), Fafê (Kovanlı) and Talatê (Doğanlı) villages. The local sources also reported that fire broke out in the rural area due to the ongoing bombardment.

The activity of warplanes has continued in the area.
