ŞIRNEX- Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Şırnak co-chair Agit Yiğit and his wife Seyran Yiğit have been detained as part of political genocide operations along with genocidal attacks on Şırnak carried out by the AKP government.

Along with the ongoing AKP government's genocidal attacks on Şırnak, a "Detention list" for 200 people allegedly prepared with the cooperation of prosecutors, police, and intelligence as a part of of political genocide operations. Special forces conducted raid on the house of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Şırnak co-chair Agit Yiğit in Silopi. Agit Yiğit and his wife Seyran Yiğit, indicated their names are in the list, were detained by special forces.

Agit Yiğit and Seyran Yiğit were taken to Silopi District Police Department.
