"Curfew", which declared in the Sur district of Diyarbakır six months ago, has continued with destruction. Thousands of citizens' houses have been demolished by state forces. The citizens have to live in their city as refugees. First "urgent expropriation" was decalred for Sur and now the people have faced to the housing policies like 1990s under the name of "Action plan". Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation Mehmet Özhaseki came to Diyarbakır in the past few days and he announced "Action plan" in addition to "urgent expropriation" decision. Mehmet made a statement and he said that Sur people can be sent to big cities like Istanbul against their homes in Sur. Sur women reacted to this statement. They said that they won't give their homes to anyone and they won't go anywhere.

Leyla Demir lives in Ali Paşa Neighborhood of Sur. She didn't leave her home during clashes times by ignoring the ban in front of her home. Leyla said that she stayed in Sur with her children and said, "We didn't leave here during the ban. I stayed inside with my children. They tols us that the state bought here and they would take our homes from us. Now, they are trying to send us to another place. They haven't left anyone in the other parts of Sur. They have broght down the houses in ruin. They cannot demolish here. Therefore, they want to throw us away from here. I didn't leave here during the ban. Bombs and bullets passed on us. However, we didn't leave here. I don't go another place. What do they want from us? We won't leave here whatever they do."

Demusa Kara is another resident of Sur. Demusa stated that the AKP government hasn't left any houses behind in Sur and its target is to not leave any people in Sur now. She said, "We only know what we experienced during the ban. I have lived in Sur for 20 years. I never change a stone of Sur to millions. The AKP doesn't leave any life in Sur. It took the houses and now it wants to take the people from Sur. We don't know who they will bring to here after us. However, we won't allow that. We will throw these cruel people out of here. We know that we cannot speak our language if we go to another place. I want to live here not other places. I don't take my children out from Sur and I don't leave my home."

"I can only breathe in Sur" said Mikrime Canlı and added, "I didn't come to Diyarbakır from another place. I am originally from Diyarbakır. I went to out from Sur for nine days; however, I couldn't breathe there. Then, I returned here. I don't leave my home and I don't give my home to anyone. They want to annihilate our values by taking us out from here. Sur is my world and I can only breathe here."
