MANBIJ - Resmil Aktar village, which has a strategic location, has been liberated with "The operation of Commander Martyr Faysal Ebû Leyla". As people have begun to smile again after the liberation of their village, one of commanders of Manbij Military Council Adnan Ebu Amcad said, "I am calling on people; Stay away from gangs' members and their centers. We promise that we will liberate our people."

Manbij Military Council launched "The operation of Commander Martyr Faysal Ebû Leyla" on June 1. Resmil Aktar village has also been liberated after clashes began last evening and continued until morning. Resmil Aktar was center of Daesh due to its strategic position and wheat factory in the village.

Manbij fighters infiltrated the village last evening. Clashes erupted between Manbij fighters and gangs' members. Gangs' members withdrew to wheat factory. The clashes were intensified at night. Having difficulties in the clashes Daesh members began to use bomb-laden vehicles. The vehicles exploded in the center of the village after the vehicles were noticed. Three civilians, including two children died and one child seriously wounded in the explosion. The village was liberated in the morning with support of international coalition aircraft.

One of commanders of Manbij Military Council Adnan Ebu Amcad spoke to us after the village was liberated. Adnan said, "Our forces have continued to advance. We can enter Manbij with our present forces. However, as it is known that gangs are holding the civilians captive and they want to use the civilians as shield for themselves. We make an effort to avoid damage to civilians. We try to take the civilians from Manbij. Many civilians have been saved from Daesh in Resmil Aktar village. I am calling on people; Stay away from gangs' members and their centers. We promise that we will liberate our people."
