ŞIRNEX- Displaced Şırnak women have continued to resist by living in tents around Şırnak. Women came together by bringing food from their home.
Women, those who were forcibly displaced from Şırnak along with the genocidal attacks carried out by state forces, have begun to live in tents around the city. The women, who set up tents in Avgamasiya village, came together at the fast-breaking meal by seting an earth table (having the fast-breaking meal in solidarity with people). The women came together in a tent with the food they brought from their homes. The women, who called for lifting the "curfew" after the fast-breaking meal, expressed their demands of peace and freedom.
The women, who have continued their resistance against the policies of displacement, don't leave their lands.
A family of 20 had to leave their home in the Şehid Harun Neighborhood of Silopi due to their home was demolished. They are living in a petrol station in the Cumhuriyet Neighborhood. They also attended the fast-breaking meal with women. Coming together in difficult times, destroys the policies of genocide and displacement.
