MÊRDÎN - Women those who were forced to leave Nusaybin known as the resistance town in the history of Kurdistan, say "We'll rebuild Nusaybin" while they are waiting for returning the town.

As the resistance in Nusaybin has left four months behind, women have settled in Mardin or the districts around Nusaybin by not leaving their lands. Nusaybin families state every time that they won't leave their lands despite their homes have been demolished. They said, "We'll set up tents even if our homes have been demolished."

Elçin Önen is one of Nusaybin women. She said that they had been forced to leave their homes without taking anything. First, they had gone to Mardin's Derik district; however, they had to go to the center of Mardin. Elçin said that they have been taken from their lands for months and she said, "We have lived in same home with four families. We had been forced to leave our home without taking anything. We, as women, have many difficulties. We don't want to live in Mardin, we want to live in our town and lands. We'll set up tents even if our home has been demolished. We'll take part in rebuilding of Nusaybin.

"I saw crying people when we had been forced to leave Nusaybin. The people left Nusaybing by crying. Children are also affected from the migration. They are bored here. The son of my brother still says, "I wish I return to Nusaybin." I just want to be unity and support each other."

Esma Gündüz is another woman, who had been forced to leave Nusaybin. Esma said that she misses the life in Nusaybin and she wants to return their old life. Esma also stated that her children have trauma and ask her, "Why don't we return to Nusaybin?", "Do they demolish our home?" and "Are soldiers in our home?" Esma always tell them, "Our home isn't demolished and we return to our home." Esma said, "I just want to return to Nusaybin."
