MANBIJ - Ebû Museffah village, which had been under the atrocity of ISIS gangs for two and half years, has been liberated by council fighters. Hamide Abdullah is one of the happiest women for this situation. "My anger is greater than my pain." said Hamide by stating that her killed son's revenge has been taken.

"The operation of Commander Martyr Faysal Ebû Leyla" was launched on June 1 by Manbij Military Council to liberate Manbij from ISIS gangs. As the operation has continued, Ebû Museffah, which had been under the atrocity of ISIS gangs' members for two and half years, has been liberated. We listened the people's pain, anger, fear and joy of liberation. Semiha Muhammed welcomed the fighters at the entrance of the village with prayers. Semiha has managed to stand on her feet even if she hasn't had a rich life. Semiha had had many difficulties like all people in the village after ISIS gangs had captured their village. Semiha noted that many bans entered their life after ISIS captured their village. She said, "While there was a large increase in the price of bread, they dispossessed the olives which we collected to earn a livelihood under the name of taxes. They made our life miserable."

Another woman Hamide Abdullah, meanwhile, began to tell us the atrocity of ISIS gangs while she was praying for the council fighters, who liberated their village. Hamide stated that council fighters haven't only liberated their village; they have also taken the revenge of her son. One of Hamide's sons was killed by ISIS. Hamide said, "ISIS beheaded my son 10 months ago. I suffered a lot and I still continue to suffer; however, my anger is greater than my pain.

"When ISIS members came to our village, they told us, "You will give us your daughters." We didn't accept that. They came to village with seven or eight vehicles in the evening and they took our daughters by force. Even worse, they gave our daughters to another ISIS member every week. Our children are scared when they see someone dressed in black with a beard."

Village people stated that they are happy to get rid of the atrocity of ISIS. They said that the bad days stay behind.
