ANKARA - Human Right Association (İHD), Libertarian Lawyers' Association (ÖHD), Contemporary Jurists' Association (ÇHD) and the Federation of Associations of Solidarity with Families of Prisoners (TUHAD-FED) members gathered in front of office of Ministry of the Interior and made a press statement for Hurşit Külter who has disappeared for 26 days. Women's Commission of the İHD Ankara branch member Sevinç Koçak made the statement in behalf of the mass. Sevinç stated that they will continue to their protests until Hurşit Külter is found. She said that Hurşit was detained alive and they want Hurşit alive.

The group unfurled a banner reads, "Where is Hurşit Külter". Women's Commission of the İHD Ankara branch member Sevinç Koçak made the statement in behalf of the mass. Sevinç said, "State authorities who haven't made legal arrangements by not signing the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance (ICPPED), are responsible for enforced disappearance that described as crimes against humanity.

"Hurşit Külter was detained on May 27 in Şırnak and his detention was announced through social media accounts belong to special forces members. However, detention of Hurşit has been denied by law enforcement, judicial and administrative departments. No information has been obtained from the Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Şırnak executive Hurşit Külter for 26 days." Sevinç said that Hurşit's father called on İHD, political paties and NGOs and he is afraid that his son is a victim of unidentified murder.

Sevinç pointed out that they told to Ministry of Justice, Public Prosecutor of Şırnak, 23rd Gendarmerie Border Division Command "Where is Hurşit? You took him alive, we want him alive."
