AMED - As soldiers have conducted raids on villages of Diyarbakır's Lice district where operations have continued, they have begun to detain the citizens in the villages. Soldiers conducted a raid on Derxust village three days ago and they detained Bedriye Sulucan and her daughter Hatun Sulucan.

Military operation began in Diyarbakır's Lice district just after "curfew" was declared in the town. Soldiers those who have occupied the villages have detained the citizens in the villages without any justification.

Soldiers occupied Derxust village three days ago and they detained two citizens named Bedirye Sulucan (65) and her daughter Hatun Sulucan (29) without any justification. According to reports, the mother and her daughter were taken to Gendarmerie Station. Meanwhile, Bedriye Sulucan's husband Ahmet Sulucan (67) was beaten by soldiers for not speaking Turkish.
