The Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Şırnak executive Hurşit Külter was taken into custody 34 days ago in Şırnak where he refused to leave his home and neighborhood against displacement policies and genocidal attacks carried out in Şırnak. Hurşit's mother Kerime Külter said, "My son has disappeared for 34 days. Let's show him to me. We asked him from everywhere; however, they told us that they didn't see him. First they said that they had detained him, but now, they have denied the detention. I want to see my son, take him out where he is held. Don't kill him. I want my child back. These people want to take the country back to 1990s. Everyone should do their utmost for Hurşit in order to not go back those years. We wanted to be in unity and bring peace back. Enough, our young people were killed and enforced disappearance. I am calling on all people; we mustn't allow Hurşit to be enforced disappearance. It will be shame of all peoples if Hurşit is killed. Hurşit isn't only my son; he is also the son of all Kurdistan."
