Saniye to rebuild her burned 27-year labor

COLEMÊRG - Saniye Bingöl has returned to her home in Yüksekova where burned and demolished by state forces. Wool machine that she bought laboriously also has its share from destruction. Saniye, who stated that her wool machine was burned by disregarding of her 27-year labor, said that she will rebuild her workplace again.

As state forces burned and demolished the people's homes they built by working many years in the Yüksekova (Gever) district of Hakkari, state forces also threw their labor away in two months. Mother of six Saniye Bingöl (45) wool machine that she bought laboriously also has its share from destruction lasted for 79 days. State forces demolished her home and workplace located in Cumhuriyet Neighborhood. Saniye, has nothing left, stated that she will rebuild her life by reacting to the situation.

Saniye noted that she had to work for years to buy the machine and the workplace is the only her source of income. She said her 27-year labor was burned and continued, "I produced quilts with my hands for 27 years. I managed to buy my machine just last year. Curfew was declared on March. I had to leave my home and workplace. I found my home and workplace burnt when I returned Yüksekova. I was badly affected with the view.

"We thought we would be comfortable when we bought the machine. I had four sewing machines in my workplace. They burned everything by disregarding of her 27-year labor. But, I will start to work again by taking my sewing needle. We will rebuild our home and our workshop with our children. I will never give up my job. I will bring home the bacon by standing on my own feet."
