SHENGAL- Women, who live in Mount Shengal, have organized every part of their life, and now they open their tailor shop to sew their clothes by themselves.

Shengal Women’s Assembly on Mount Shengal opens women’s tailor shop. In the tailor shop, 10 women are working. One of those women named Sare Raso said: “Opening this tailor shop is very important for us because we can begin to work with this tailor shop.”

Another woman in the tailor shop, Dilo Raso, said that: “My hope is that each woman comes here to work or if they want, they join YJŞ (The Shengal Women Unite) ranks.”

And Xoxe Dexil also said: “Opening the tailor shop for the development of the communes is an important step. To help our families we must begin to work like this way.”

Naime Elyas also said: “We are sewing our clothes by ourselves. For us it’s a big step. We will work more and be better in the future.”
