UtaAmara celebrates its 10th anniversary

NEWS CENTER - UtaAmara Women's Foundation, carries out its activities in Kasback, celebrated its foundation anniversary.

UtaAmara Women's Foundation that carries out its activities in the Kasback city of Germany, celebrated its 10th foundation anniversary by organizing activities. Kurdish people from Linz, Bonn, Neuwied and Köln and German and people from other countries attended the activities. Sandra Cray from UtaAmara made a speech. She said that Uta and Amara, who died in an unfortunate traffic accident in 2005 in Kurdistan, were strong women. She said, "To keep their memories alive, we could raise awareness of women and empower them. A women's foundation could be a good tool for that. For this reason, we founded this foundation. We are leaving 10 years behind; however, we know that we should work harder. We should continue and develop our works."

After Köln Tekoşin Children's Folk Dancing Team's show, audience joined the dance. Then, Narinxan jazzed up the activities with her songs.
