AMED - Fire broke out on mountains in Silvan caused by shelling of state forces. Citizens have tried to extinguish the fire by their own efforts.

State forces shelled the rural areas of the Silvan district of Diyarbakır last night. According to reports, fire broke out in area between Silvan and Malabadi Bridge due to shelling. The villages said, "Fire broke out last night and it has continued. The fire could reach the villages, if the fire isn't extinguished."

The villages stated that they asked help to extinguish the fire; however, no one come to help them. For this reason, they have tried to extinguish the fire by their own efforts.
