A march was organized in Marseille under the leadership of Arîn Mîrkan Women's Assembly with the slogan "Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan" to protest the ongoing aggravated isolation on the PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan. As a large number of women attended the march, women carried out banners read, "Yesterday Mandela, Today Öcalan", "Freedom for Öcalan, Legal Status for Kurdistan", "Ten Million People Demand an Answer". The march started in Vieux Port square and ended in front of the European Commission representation office. Women wore t-shirts with photos of the PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan printed on them and passed out flyers to inform the public of the isolation imposed on Abdullah Öcalan.
