ISTANBUL - Revolutionary People's Liberation Party/Front (DHKP/C) female inmates held in Bakırköy L Type Women's Closed Prison set fire their wards to protest the family-visits ban. According to reports, 35 female inmates were exiled from Bakırköy prison to Silivri No.9 Prison.

According to reports received, 35 female inmates were exiled to Silivri No.9 Prison at midnight without informing their families members, who waited in front of Bakırköy Prison to get information.

The Prisoners' Families Solidarity Association (TAYAD) administrator Fahrettin Keskin said that he reported the relatives of inmates that 35 female inmates were exiled at midnight and the families' members went to Silivri No.9 Prison to obtain information about the inmates.
