Police Department confirms the detention of Emrah after 3 days!

AMED - The detention of 26-year-old Emrah Önkol, who was detained three days ago during house raids conducted in villages following declaration of "curfew" in Lice, was refused by Lice Police Department for three days. The police department confirms that Emrah has been held in the police department.
"Curfew" was declared in Diyarbakır's Lice district three days ago. Soldiers conducted raid on Ceme Elika village and detained 26-year-old Emrah Önkol. Emrah was detained on August 2 by soldiers. His family didn't get any news from him for three days. Emrah's lawyer applied to the police department to know his whereabouts; however, Lice Police Department alleged that "No one like that is under custody. We don't have information about that." According to Dicle News Agency (DİHA), the police department called Emrah's family and lawyer after three days and they confirm that Emrah has been held in the police department.
