ISTANBUL – As the blockade of police has continued in Gazi Neighborhood of Istanbul for two days, people is holding noise demos to protest the ongoing blockade.

Police blockade has continued in the Gazi Neighborhood of Istanbul’s Sultangazi district. Police raided the office of the Hasan Ferit Gedik Fight against Drugs Center and took the patient in the center on August 30 and they pulled down the People Assembly and entered the Kemal Pir Park with crane.

As the blockade of special forces has continued in the neighborhood, the building of the Hasan Ferit Gedik Fight against Drugs Center has been surrendered with barriers and the building has been turned in to headquarter. Citizens, who react to the attacks, have been reported to be detained by police. As police have opened fire into the air in order to scare people, the people have been holding noise demos to protest the attack.
