TOKAT – Tokat Governorship has banned all press statements and ralies in Tokat following the jailing of 12 members of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP), among them the HDP deputy co-chair Alp Altınörs.

Tokat Governorship announces they have banned all activities such as press statements, ralies, marches and distributing leaflets between September 16 and 18. The statement reads, “The left groups have been considered to organize actions in meetings, marches, press statement and other activities. The activities mentioned above have been banned between September 16 and 18.”
