AMED- Two members of the Education and Science Workers Union (Eğitim-SEN), who wore an apron reading: “Don’t touch my teacher”, have been detained.

Suspended teachers went to schools by wearing an apron reading: “Don’t touch my teacher” on the first day of the school year in Diyarbakır. Parents and children also supported the teachers.

Two members of the Education and Science Workers Union (Eğitim-SEN) named Ramazan Erdem and Mehmet Altan, who wore the apron, were detained in Mesut Yılmaz Primary School and Süleyman Demirel High School.

The teachers wanted to make statement in front of the schools; however, the teachers weren’t allowed to make statements for the state emergency reasons.
