The female guerrilla, who is lying down in a stream as wounded, has been tortured by soldiers and village guards. The soldiers and village guards use sexist insult against the woman.

As no information has been obtained about when and where the video was shot, the video causes response on social media. According to reports, the wounded and tortured woman can be Saime Avşin (nom de guerre Avaşin Gabar) member of the YJA Star. The People's Defence Forces (HPG) released a statement published by the Fırat News Agency (ANF) on August 29, the statement of the HPG reads; “Our forces carried out an action targeting the soldiers at the Çemêkurkê military barracks in the Şemzinan district of Hakkari on August 28. Two specialized sergeants were wounded and then died. Meanwhile, one of our guerrillas was captured during the action; the name of captured guerrilla is Avaşin Gabar (Saime Avşin).”

According to the video and photographs shared on social media, the woman was wounded in the leg and the video shared on social media on the same day of the clash (August 28). The wounded and tortured woman can be Saime Avşin.
