MÛŞ- In the past, women gathered in the high parts of the mountains to collect Gula Hırç (Rose of Bear) in order to make ornaments. The Gula Hırç, which presents its color entertainingly, has faced to be forgotten.
Gula Hırç (Rose of Bear) blooms in the high parts of the mountains in the Varto (Gımgım) district of Muş following the melting of snow. As Gula Hırç presents its unique colors to the nature, it also decorates the peak of mountains. Gula Hırç grows to a height of 3,200 meters. The people call the flower as Gula Hırç because it grows only in high mountainous areas. Gula Hırç is a fragile flower type. The shape of Gula Hırç is like onion and tuber. In the past, women used this unique rose to make necklace, bracelet and earrings; however, this rose has been begun to be forgotten in these days.
