Nurşan told us that she was removed from the neighborhood accompanied with cameras, “After turning of the cameras, police put handcuff in our hands by using bad language against us. They took us a sports hall and put sacks on our heads. Our hands were handcuffed behind the back and they forced us to kneel. Then, they began to beat us. They tortured us for days.” Nurşan said the police gave them cupcakes when cameras shot them; however they took back the cupcakes when the cameras turned off. Nurşan said, “They forced the young people to give evidence against the people they didn’t know. Many people signed the prepared texts and gave evidence against hundreds of people they never met. I refused to give evidence and I was subjected to torture for days.

Nurşan said she thought she could have protected her home if she hadn’t left it, “But everything worked different. The attacks became more intensify day by day and I had to leave my home.
