AMED- Amedspor Women’s Volleyball Team members, who have begun the preparation of new season, will compete in the 2nd League this year. The team’s members said their only goal was Play-Offs in this season and they believed in themselves.

The only women’s volleyball team in leagues from Diyarbakır is Amedspor Women’s Volleybol Team. The team will compete in the 2nd League this year. Last season, the team became the first in the region and was entitled to participate in the Turkish Champions.

One of players of the team, Gizem Ay said she had sweated for the Amedspor for six years, “We will succeed like last year. As a team, our only goal will be Play-Offs in this season and we are working hard for that. We have already begun our preparations for the new season. I wish we return to our city with victory and be the source of pride for both our team and city.”

Another player Dilan Tankılıç expressed that the team made her like volleyball, “I have played in Amedspor for six years. My team makes me love this sport. We will work hard this year. I have played volleyball for six years, but I feel like I am playing it just for a year. You lose track of time when you are happy with your work. I like volleyball, my team and teachers.”
