ANKARA – The court has ordered that the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Batman MP Ayşe Acar Başaran shall be brought to the court forcibly to the trial to be held on October 26.

The Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Batman MP Ayşe Acar Başaran headed to Batman’s Sason district on September 18, 2015 with the HDP and DBP (Democratic Regions Party) administrators in order to be human shield against launched military operation in the district. 83 people were detained by gendarme in operation region. After being held under detention for two days, 26 of 83 people were sent to jail. An investigation was opened into the HDP MP Ayşe Acar Başaran. Ayşe has been allowed to be tried following the lifting of immunity. The Batman Heavy Criminal Court sent an notification to Ayşe and said in the notification, if Ayşe doesn’t attend the trial held on October 26, she will “forcibly bring” to the trial or a “warrant” will be issued against her.
