AMED – As “curfew” has been imposed in the Sur district of Diyarbakır for 300 days, the destruction in the four neighborhoods has continued.

The curfew, which was declared on December 2, 2015, in the Sur district of Diyarbakır has entered in the 300th day. The district has been blockaded six times for one year and the curfew has been still imposed in four neighborhoods of the town. After 103 days of the resistance, the state announced, “Operations ended” on March 9 in the town; however, the curfew has been imposed despite the announcement. The destruction has continued in the town since March.
