SÊRT – 10-year-old Yusuf Erzen, who was seriously wounded in a clash, broke out between soldiers and the HPG fighters on July 15 in Siirt city center while being on roof of his home, passed away.

The HPG (People's Defence Forces) fighters attacked a Police Station on July 15 in Siirt city center. Clashes broke out between police and the HPG fighters after the attack. 10-year-old Yusuf Erzen and his mother Besna Erzen were seriously wounded while being on the roof of their home. They were taken to Siirt State Hospital. As mother was discharged from the hospital, Yusuf Erzen was sent to Van Yüzüncü Yıl University Medical Faculty. After taking 71 days treatment, Yusuf Erzen passed away in the hospital.
