QAMIŞLO – Cultural and Art Council of Cizîr Canton has founded the Rojava’s first children’s orchestra.

Rojava’s first children’s orchestra declared its foundation with a concert in Music Education Institute in the El-Miwezefîn Neighborhood of Cizîr Canton’s Qamişlo city. According to ANHA (Hawar News Agency), Heyfa Erebo, co-chair of Cizîr Canton, chairs of the Democratic Autonomy councils of Cizîr Canton, representatives Intellectuals Union, tens of teachers and art-lovers attended the concert. Cultural and Art Council of Cizîr Canton provided training for the children aged between 7 and 16 in the orchestra.

Spoke in the concert, Heyfa Erebo, co-chair of Cizîr Canton, wished the children luck and said, “We hope that these children will exhibit their art all around the world.” Cultural and Art Council of Cizîr Canton provided the children the music education and gave them the necessary musical instruments.
