ISTANBUL- Access to the website of Hayatın Sesi channel, whose broadcast has been shut down within the scope of the Statutory Decree, has also been blocked.

The Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) has shut down the broadcast of 12 TV channels and 11 radio stations including Hayatın Sesi, Azadi TV, Jiyan TV, Van TV, TV10 and children's channel Zarok TV within the scope of the decree law No. 668 which was issued during the process of State of Emergency. The Information and Communications Technologies Authority (BTK) has blocked the website of Hayat TV as well.

The BTK said:

“As a result of the technical surveys and legal evaluations carried out in accordance with the law No. 5651 this website (hayatin-sesi.net) is subjected to an administrative measure with regards to the decision No. 490.05.01.2016.-151546of Information and Communications Technologies Authority on 30/09/2016."
