SHENGAL – Clashes broke out after the attacks on the villages of Shengal launched by Daesh have intensified.

Following the attacks from 5 sides launched by the ISIS gangs at approximately 05.00 a.m. today, the clashes broke out. The clashes have intensified in the Cidale and Skinye villages in the area defended by Êzidî peshmerga of the KDP. The Peshmerga forces have been reported to have to retreat from Cidale village and there are casualties in the clashes.

The International Coalition Forces support the peshmerga from the air with warplanes.

Meanwhile, the reports say there are several casualties in Coalition aircraft hitting a gang convoy near Shengal’s Tıl İzer village. Three armored vehicles of Daesh were destroyed and 10 Daesh gangs’ members killed by the coalition aircraft.
