The tents in Toptepe and İkizce in Şırnak pulled down!

ŞIRNEX – Pulling down the tents of displaced residents of Şırnak in Afetevleri, state forces have begun to pull down the tents in Toptepe and İkizce villages. Last night, police threated the people to leave the tents until tonight or they would pull down their tents.
The tents put up by displaced people of Şırnak in order to not leave their lands since the curfew was declared on March 14 in the city. The people’s tents have been pulled down by the state. Yesterday, the tents in Afetevleri were pulled down by armored vehicles and police were positioned in the tents area. While, there are many armored vehicles in the area, the images of the area seem like there is an occupation.
The citizens, who were forced to leave their tents and took some of their belongings from their tents in Afetevleri pulled down by police, went to close villages and districts. The citizens say, “We won’t leave Şırnak, the state wants to evacuate Botan but we won’t allow them.”
Meanwhile, police went to Toptepe and İkizce villages, where there are tents of hundreds families, with armored vehicles and threatened the people by saying, “Evacuate the tents until tomorrow night or we will pull down the tents with diggers.” The citizens react to police and said, “We don’t leave, they should pull down the tents on us.”
