IZMIR – In Izmir, police attacked a crowd protesting the imprisonment of representatives from the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP). JINHA reporter Ayşe Yılmaz is among the many people currently under arrest.

In an attack on protestors outside the Sevinç Bakery in the Alsancak quarter of Izmir, police violently arrested a large number of people. JINHA reporter Ayşe Yılmaz was among those assaulted and arrested by police.

The arrestees are currently being held in a police vehicle.
