AMED – Almost all women’s organizations in Turkey have been shut down, including SELİS Women’s Association.
 
One of the closed associations as part of the 11th article of the Law of State of Emergency is SELİS Women’s Association. The Diyarbakır office of the association has been sealed. An independent women’s organization, SELİS, put their signature under important works for women.
