ANKARA – Being dismissed by KHK decree, research assistant Nuriye Gülmen have been detained for fifth time today by being battered.

Academician Nuriye Gülmen launched a sit-in protest in Yüksel Avenue saying, “I want my job back” against the dismission order taken by Selçuk University through the statutory decree issued in the State of Emergency. Today, police detained Nuriye by battering her fifth time on the fifth day of the protest. Two people, who joined Nuriye to support her, were also detained.
