ŞIRNEX – Journalist Aysel Işık has been taken into custody in Şırnak by special operation police.

Aysel Işık, former reporter of JINHA Women’s News, which was shut down by KHK decree, has been detained in Şırnak. Aysel was in Yeni Neighborhood of Şırnak with the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) MP Aycan İrmez and she was detained and forced into an armored vehicle by special operation police. According to reports, Aycan İrmez and lawyers asked the detention reason; however, police didn’t show any reason.

Aysel Işık has been taken to Şırnak Police Headquarters.
