İZMİR – Seven female members of the Student Collective of Ege University, who protested the draft bill prescribing impunity for sexual harassers if they get married with their victims, have been detained by being battering.

Members of the Student Collective of Ege University (EU) wanted to make a statement in the campus in order to protest the draft bill prescribing impunity for sexual harassers if they get married with their victims. Police attacked the students, who demanded the bill to be withdrawn, and detained seven students by battering. Detained students were taken to İzmir Police Headquarters.
