Hediye Ataman was burned alive with her home following the house raid conducted by police and soldiers on November 18 in Van’s Erciş district. Last night, Hediye’s family took her body from the morgue of the Van Dursun Odabaşı Medical Center to Erciş. Police stopped the family from entering the body to the district. Thereupon, family took the body to her family home located in Çelebibağı Neighborhood by using belt highway. Hediye’s family reported that they would bury her in the morning for security reasons.
