NEWS CENTER – Daesh forces occupying the historic city of Palmyra have killed approximately 400 women and children.

Daesh assaulted the ancient city of Palmyra over the previous week, with Syrian army forces withdrawing from the city on Thursday. Concerns continue that the group will destroy the historic site of Tadmur, as they have in other historic sites in Syria and Iraq.

Syrian state TV reports that Daesh gangs have massacred a group of 400 women and children in the city as part of their attacks on civilians.
