ADANA - Women in the province of Adana, Turkey marched to demand that Turkey allow the body of YPJ fighter Zeynep Tekin to cross the border for burial.

YPJ fighter Zeynep Tekin (nom de guerre Evîndar Botan) lost her life fighting against Daesh in Kobanê. For more than two weeks now, the Turkish government has refused to allow the bodies of YPG and YPJ fighters killed in Kobanê to cross the border into Turkey to be buried in their native soil. The families of the fighters have been maintaining a vigil demanding that the state give them the bodies of their children.

The Peace Mothers and the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) led a march of hundreds through the district of Seyhan, in Adana. The marchers, carrying massive photographs of Zeynep, marched to the tent where Zeynep's family is accepting condolences.
