RIHA - 15-year-old Mihemed Hesen Bunyamîn, shot by Turkish soldiers at the Rojava border, has lost his life.
Yesterday, two women were killed when Turkish soldiers opened fire on a group trying to cross the Syrian-Turkish border near the Girê Sor village, west of the city of Girê Spî (Tel Abyad). Most of the wounded were taken to the Emel Hospital in the city of Kobanê; four seriously wounded people were brought across the border to the town of Suruç, Turkey. The most seriously wounded were then taken to the city of Urfa for treatment.
A 15-year-old boy, Mihemed Hesen Bunyamîn, has died in the Suruç hospital from extreme blood loss. 10 bullets were found in his body.
Mihemed Hesen's father, Hesen Bunyamîn, has traveled to Urfa to bring his son's body back to their village of Ayn al-Arûz. Hesen reported that the soldiers opened fire on dozens of civilian vehicles.
"Many people were wounded. There were those who died. My son was one of them. He had no crime, no sin and he was shot," said Hesen. "Moreover, he was shot while he was on Rojava territory. And it wasn't like they shoot the smugglers; 10 bullets came out of his body. This shows that they planned a massacre."
