NEWS CENTER - Several Kurdish villages have been bombed as Turkish jets resumed airstrikes in the Kandil region of Kurdistan.

On August 1, a Turkish bombing killed eight civilians in the village of Zergelê. Zergelê is located in the Kandil region of Southern Kurdistan (in Iraq). The airstrikes targeted the guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones, according to the Turkish Armed Forces.
