KOBANÊ - The city of Kobanê, Rojava has opened its second playground.

Daesh attacked the city of Kobanê, in the Rojava autonomous region in Syria, with a massive siege lasting from September to January. As civilians have returned to the city, Kobanê has now opened its second playground.

The Kobanê Women's Council and the Social Affairs Council both supported the playground and educational area. It is located in the Miştenur Camp for the displaced. The playground aims to fight back against the damage of war to children's psyches.

Children between the ages of 3 and 5 can register for childcare at the playground. The older children will learn literacy skills.
