DÎLOK - In the city of Antep, in southern Turkey, four people sexually attacked a small child. Neighborhood residents took to the streets in protest, shutting down the roads.

A four-year-old child was abducted while playing in the street in Antep, Turkey yesterday. The attackers took the child to a nearby mosque, where the child was sexually attacked. The child's grandmother saw the attackers and screamed. The attackers fled the scene. The child was hospitalized.

Neighborhood residents started a demonstration upon hearing of the incident. They shut down traffic on the intercity highway for around one hour. Residents chanted slogans denouncing the lack of safety in the neighborhood.
