COLEMÊRG - Turkish police invaded two neighborhoods in the Kurdish town of Yüksekova, killing a young man named Ali Kaval.

For days, police and military attacks have continued without respite the Kurdish town of Yüksekova, Turkey. Yesterday night, police targeted the two neighborhoods of Esentepe and Esenyurt. Heavily armed special operations police raided the neighborhood with tear gas and live ammunition. They exploded the residents' barricades with hand grenades.

As tanks opened fire on the residents, police shot a young man named Ali Kaval. Ali was shot with two bullets to the leg and one to the head. Ali was rushed to the town hospital, but could not be saved.
