Refugee disaster in Bodrum

MUĞLA - Two boats carrying Syrian refugees headed to Greece have sunk off the coast of Bodrum, Turkey. 11 have died and five gone missing.

As the massacre of migrants continues in the Mediterranean, two dinghies have sunk off the coast of the town of Bodrum, Turkey. In one case, a dinghy carrying 16 refugees sank. Just four were saved, with seven missing and five lost. A search is continuing for the missing.

Another dinghy bearing six refugees also sank. Four died, three of them children. Two individuals reached the shore in life vests. They had passed out.
