Turkish police raid women’s center

AMED - Turkish police have raided a women’s center and health center in the largely Kurdish city of Diyarbakır at dawn today.
The local government-supported Kardelen Women’s Center and Women and Children’s Health Center are located in the largely Kurdish city of Diyarbakır. Turkish police raided the centers, located in the Bağlar district, around 5:00 this morning. Police broke down the doors, destroyed medical supplies and violently pinned an employee to the ground in the raid.
Police have not made any arrests, but conducted ID checks at the centers this morning.
