AMED - 16-year-old Vedat Akcanım was killed in Silvan where there is blockade by soldiers and Turkish police forces. Police have raided houses and arrested people. Turkish police forces arrested Zuhal Tekiner and Kerem Canpolat, co-mayors of the district of Silvan in Diyarbakır, who came to a neighborhood to take injured civilians out.

Zuhal Tekiner and Kerem Canpolat were released after they were taken to police headquarters of the district of Silvan.

Vedat Akcanım’s body was held in the Tekel Mosque; his body cannot buried because of the conflicts in the district of Silvan.

Turkish police forces’ raids, violence and custody are continuing in the district of Silvan. Police assaulted civilians with pressurized water.

Gunshots continued for days in the district of Silvan.
